I Think That Owl Screwed Up (HP fanfic)An Eurasian Eagle-Owl flied over Iowa. There was nothing in sight but cornfields for miles and miles. If the owl had human intelligence, it would be wondering why it was in some random state in United States no one knows about instead of Europe or Asia (or maybe the very northern tip Africa).

It would also be wondering why it had a letter duct taped to its beak and a GPS device stuck on its head. Normally, owls from Owl Post don't need any additional gadgets or instructions to find the destination, but apparently Owl Post kinda ran out of owls to deliver letters. Woot Vriska! Pre-accident just because I wanted to draw the eightfold eyes. I'm actually kinda proud of this. Perhaps because it's not quite so animesque. I don't really like drawing homestuck in an animesque style. Being a western media thing and all. Half assed the hair shading, and somehow it still looks nice.

Anyway. This thing took...a couple hours...and lemme count the layers...25. I was thinking about making her eyes blue, but she's not old enough to have the blood color fill in so yeah...although she looks older than 13 here. Plus her eyelashes are blue (mascara?) so a blue eyes would have looked weird. Oh and that is probably the best hand I ever drew. Sad, I know.
